Extreme value theory for moving average processes with light-tailed innovations [PDF]
We consider stationary infinite moving average processes of the form $Y_n = \sum c_i Z_{n+i}$, where the sum ranges over the integers, (Z_i) is a sequence of iid random variables with ``light tails'' and (c_i) is a sequence of positive and summable ...

A machine learning‐guided self‐driving laboratory screened over 500 nickel‐based layered double‐hydroxide catalysts for alkaline oxygen evolution. Out of the eight metals, the robot uncovered a quaternary Ni–Fe–Cr–Co catalysts requiring only 231 mV overpotential to reach 20 mA cm−2.

Photoactivated Signaling Networks using DNA‐Based Synthetic Organelles as Biomimetic Protocells
Light‐triggered intercommunication between two types of organelle‐loaded liposomes lead to DNAzyme‐mediated on transcription‐guided structural reconfiguration of the organelles. ABSTRACT Membraneless organelles formed by phase‐separated nucleic acid or protein condensates play vital roles in regulating cellular functions.

Characterisation of the Murine Gammaherpesvirus-68 M4 gene [PDF]
Murine gammaherpesvirus 68 (MHV-68) is a lymphotropic virus which infects wild murid rodents and can readily infect experimental mice. Thus, MHV-68 is an invaluable small animal model for elucidating gammaherpesvirus pathogenesis and immune evasion ...

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures

Novel Non‐Cytotoxic Acylphosphinates and Acylphosphine Oxides Photoinitiators
Novel acylphosphine oxide (APO) and acylphosphinate photoinitiators based on DPO and DOPO were designed to investigate structure–property relationships including photochemical performance, polymerization efficiency and cytotoxicity. While DPO derivatives showed excellent reactivity, DOPO‐based systems also displayed good efficiency and significantly ...

Strongly regular graphs with parameters (4m4,2m4+m2,m4+m2,m4+m2) exist for all m>1
Using results on Hadamard difference sets, we construct regular graphical Hadamard matrices of negative type of order 4m4 for every positive integer m. If m>1, such a Hadamard matrix is equivalent to a strongly regular graph with parameters (4m4,2m4+m2 ...
