AL-MAC: Adaptive Error Compensation Approximate MAC
2021 4th International Conference on Circuits, Systems and Simulation (ICCSS), 2021Approximate calculation is extensively used in fault-tolerant applications as an extremely effective method of saving energy by balancing performance between accuracy and power consumption. Herein, an adaptive error compensation approximate multiplication and accumulation (AL-MAC) based on the logarithmic principle is proposed, which takes two factors ...

Hybrid caches consisting of both STT-RAM and SRAM have been proposed recently for energy efficiency. To explore the advantages of hybrid cache, most work on hybrid caches employs migration based strategies to dynamically move write-intensive data from STT-RAM to SRAM.

A new improved MAC scheme: RM-MAC
2011 6th International ICST Conference on Communications and Networking in China (CHINACOM), 2011As a typical MAC layer salvaging scheme, MASA is applied to IEEE802.11 with constant bit rate. In Ad Hoc networks, the salvation character of this scheme improves the performance of the 802.11 MAC protocol. However, the IEEE802.11b with variable bit rate is widely used at present.

As Nanotechnology develops, new chances are arising for developing applications which will provide solutions to many different fields such as Biomedicine, industrial and consumer goods. The interconnection of these Nanodevices is expected to expand the capabilities of each Nanodevice allowing them to cooperate and communicate with each other.
