Tracing the evolutionary history of the morpho‐anatomy of baculum in primates
Abstract Animal morphology reflects both evolutionary history and present‐day adaptation. Male mammal copulatory structures such as the baculum (penile bone) are ideal for studying these processes because of their complexity and high interspecific variability. In primates, however, research has focused mostly on baculum length.

Egg Transport in the Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) [PDF]
utilizing serial laparoscopy. Egg transport was evaluated by segmental flushing of the oviducts and uterus. Ovulated eggs, transferred rabbit eggs, and microspheres were transported to the ampullary-isthmic regicm by 48 hr, were retained in the isthmus between 48 and 96 hr, and entered the uterus between 96 and 120 hr after ovulation.

Abstract Background Parkinson's disease is mainly characterized by dopaminergic neurodegeneration in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) and α‐synuclein accumulation. The locus coeruleus (LC) is also affected in Parkinson's disease and linked to some nonmotor symptoms, but the extent and timing of its degeneration remain unclear.

Abstract Current research into developmental prosopagnosia (DP) estimates a high prevalence rate in the general population, but there exist many gaps in the research. More needs to be learned about the lived experience of those with DP and how to identify it in children. Using reflexive thematic analysis, this study explored the lived experience of how

Color Perception in Protanomalous Female Macaca fascicularis [PDF]
Protanomalous females with X chromosome-linked color vision deficiency exhibit mild abnormalities, whereas dichromats show a distinct deficiency in discriminating certain color pairs. Dichromats have an advantage in detecting a textured target when it is camouflaged by red-green colors, owing to their insensitivity to these colors.
