Flags of sheaves, quivers and symmetric polynomials
We study a quiver description of the nested Hilbert scheme of points on the affine plane and its higher rank generalization – that is, the moduli space of flags of framed torsion-free sheaves on the projective plane.

An analogue of Schur functions for the plane partitions
An attempt is described to extend the notion of Schur functions from Young diagrams to plane partitions. The suggestion is to use the recursion in the partition size, which is easily generalized and deformed.

Macdonald characters from a new formula for Macdonald polynomials [PDF]
We introduce a new operator $\Gamma$ on symmetric functions, which enables us to obtain a creation formula for Macdonald polynomials. This formula provides a connection between the theory of Macdonald operators initiated by Bergeron, Garsia, Haiman and Tesler, and shifted Macdonald polynomials introduced by Knop, Lassalle, Okounkov and Sahi.

Chalykh's Baker-Akhiezer functions as eigenfunctions of the integer-ray integrable systems
Macdonald symmetric polynomial at t=q−m reduces to a sum of much simpler complementary non-symmetric polynomials, which satisfy a simple system of the first order linear difference equations with constant coefficients, much simpler than those induced by ...
