Wind-tunnel investigation of aerodynamic loading on a 0.237-scale model of a remotely piloted research vehicle with a thick, high-aspect-ratio supercritical wing [PDF]
Wind-tunnel measurements were made of the wing-surface static-pressure distributions on a 0.237 scale model of a remotely piloted research vehicle equipped with a thick, high-aspect-ratio supercritical wing.

ABSTRACT This study explores exciting state species and reaction pathways in positive leaders to better understand the breakdown mechanisms of long air gap discharges and natural lightning. Emission spectra from an unstable positive leader in a 1 m rod‐plate air gap under switching impulse voltages were observed, spanning 300–800 nm.

At the SIRIUS beamline of Synchrotron SOLEIL, the use of the DAFS technique has been extended to the tender X‐ray range. We present a study of the Nb L3‐edge in PbSc0.5Nb0.5O3 relaxor ferroelectric oxide, where the use of superstructure reflections provides access to the ordered part of the sample.Diffraction anomalous fine structure spectroscopy (DAFS)

A framework for the support of pollinators in urban areas is developed here, based on five pillars: nesting, flower resources, artificial support, management and society acceptance, with additional key elements from science and society. Society should incorporate strategies for pollinators as in this framework by means of co‐planning with stakeholders,

ABSTRACT This research focuses on how the North Korean Democratic Women's Union (NKDWU), the umbrella women's organisation in North Korea formed soon after Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule in 1945, forged international leftist women's solidarity during the North Korean state's liminal, revolutionary period (1945–1949).
