AI‐Enhanced High‐Resolution Functional Imaging Reveals Trap States and Charge Carrier Recombination Pathways in Perovskite

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 8, Issue 6, November 2025.
We use AI‐enhanced intensity modulation two‐photon excited fluorescence microscopy (ml‐IM2PM) to investigate defect properties and charge carrier recombination in MAPbBr3 films. Mapping exciton generation rate, trap concentration, and trap energy barriers and correlating spatially resolved charge carrier recombination pathways, we identify the ...

MRI‐Based Computational Analysis of Upper Airway Aerodynamics in Obstructive Sleep Apnea on Mandibular Advancement Device Treatment Effects

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2025.
MRI technology can effectively capture the morphology of the upper airway during the inspiratory phase. Specifically, the findings from this case reveal that the mandibular advancement device can increase the volume of the velopharynx and the oropharynx, while reducing the maximum airflow velocity.

A Multi‐Century Meteo‐Hydrological Analysis in the Italian Alps: Daily Streamflow (1862–2022) at Different Time Scales

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 39, Issue 11, November 2025.
The second longest time series (1862–2022) for Italy and possibly the Mediterranean area of daily hydrometric levels and streamflow data was reconstructed for the Adige river basin, in the Italian Alps (9793 km2). Annual precipitation is stationary and annual streamflow is significantly declining at a rate of −1.0 mm year−1 corresponding to −1.3 ...
