Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

Research on reliability comprehensive evaluation method of five-axis CNC machine tools based on AHP and extension theory

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Currently, some five-axis CNC machine tools have almost achieved the same advanced level of the western countries in terms of functionality and performance. However, the reliability of system is much lower than similar foreign products.

Reliability analysis of two-unit cold standby repairable systems under Poisson shock. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This paper analyses the reliability of a cold standby system consisting of two re- pairable units, a switch and a repairman. At any time, one of the two units is operating while the other is on cold standby.

From energy provision to protein synthesis: Tunnelling nanotubes as mediators of intercellular metabolic cooperation in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Dynamic Scheduling and Preventive Maintenance in Small-Batch Production: A Flexible Control Approach for Maximising Machine Reliability and Minimising Delays

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Single- and small-batch production requires flexible production control to maximise machine reliability and minimise delivery delays. Existing planning approaches often do not take into account the dynamic production conditions of these environments ...
