Machine Learning-Assisted Hybrid ReaxFF Simulations
Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation, 2021We have developed a machine learning (ML)-assisted Hybrid ReaxFF simulation method ("Hybrid/Reax"), which alternates reactive and non-reactive molecular dynamics simulations with the assistance of ML models to simulate phenomena that require longer time scales and/or larger systems than are typically accessible to ReaxFF. Hybrid/Reax uses a specialized

Сomputer Simulation of Machining
Key Engineering Materials, 2017The present paper presents the results of an analysis of the functioning principles of contemporary CAD systems and of their capabilities for modern process modelling. Requirements to process modelling software have been set forth. Physical processes during cutting of metals have been considered. The selection of Delphi programming environment has been

Simulation Based Studies of Machine-to-Machine Communications
2014Simulations are essential for understanding complex systems such as Cyber Physical Systems. The creation of reliable multi-disciplinary simulation tools that can be used to support the entire development process has been identified as a major scientific goal in several research roadmaps and agendas for the coming 15 years.

Simulations by Time-Bounded Counter Machines
International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2009We investigate the efficiency of simulations of storages by several counters. A simulation of a pushdown store is described which is optimal in the sense that reducing the number of counters of a simulator leads to an increase in time complexity. The lower bound also establishes a tight counter hierarchy in exponential time.

Simulating electric machine performance
SIMULATION, 1992This paper presents details of a computer program EMSP (Electric Machine Simula tion Program), which provides the capabil ity to simulate the steady state and dynamic performance of five fundamental devices: the transformer; the dc machine; the polyphase induction machine; the polyphase synchronous machine; and the single phase induction machine.

Simulating a Molecular Machine in Action
The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2012Using QM/MM methods, we have simulated the action of a simple molecular machine, a cilium. It consists of a platform for surface mounting, a photochemical motor unit, and a tail-like effector that amplifies the small-scale conformational change of the motor unit into a larger-scale beating motion usable for molecular transport.

The architecture and implementation of the ERRIC instruction code software simulator is presented. The main property of the simulator is providing a tool for developing real ERRIC-based software even before a real ERRIC processor appears, or to develop software without a processor at hand.

The Heterogeneous Machine Simulator
1986The heterogeneous machine simulator is a program which attempts to simulate the proposed hardware for the heterogeneous machine at a high level, along with the low level programming abstractions which have been proposed. This will, hopefully, provide: 1) a reasonable basis for programmers to evaluate application designs in the absence of the actual ...

Mechanical Simulation of Machining
1997We have developed a new mechanical simulation for machining with precision cutting tools in order to predict vibratory behaviour, but more importantly, resulting final surface. For this simulation a new machining model has been developed. The various mechanical aspects of the problem, including vibratory motion of flexible machine parts, cutting law ...
