COMPARISON OF TRUVIEW EVO2 LARYNGOSCOPE WITH MACINTOSH LARYNGOSCOPE ON PATIENTS UNDERGOING CAESAREAN SECTION

open access: yes, 2016
Objective: A significant part of developing complications from anaesthesia during caesarean section is related to airway management. The goal of this study was to determine the efficiency of the TruView EVO2 laryngoscope compared with the Macintosh ...

A randomized controlled comparison of non-channeled king vision, McGrath MAC video laryngoscope and Macintosh direct laryngoscope for nasotracheal intubation in patients with predicted difficult intubations

open access: yesBMC Anesthesiology, 2019
Background King Vision and McGrath MAC video laryngoscopes (VLs) are increasingly used. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of nasotracheal intubation in patients with predicted difficult intubations using non-channeled King Vision ...

A prospective randomised study to compare and evaluate macintosh laryngoscope and king vision video laryngoscope for routine intubation in adults scheduled for elective surgery. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The present study compared the King Vision Video Laryngoscope (KVVL) channelled blade with Macintosh laryngoscope (ML) with regard to the laryngoscopic view, laryngoscopic time and time required to complete the tracheal intubation with head in neutral

A randomised comparison of InnoScope and Macintosh laryngoscope in simulated difficult tracheal intubation in manikins

open access: yes, 2013
We conducted a crossover randomised study to evaluate the performance of a novel optical stylet, the InnoScope, for tracheal intubation in simulated normal and difficult airways.

Comparison of Macintosh laryngoscope and C-MAC video laryngoscope for intubation in lateral position

open access: yesJournal of Anaesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology, 2015
Endotracheal intubation is conventionally performed when the patient is in supine position. It may be required to secure airway in laterally positioned patient. Tracheal intubation in lateral position seems to be difficult because the laryngeal view is compromised.

Role of the Truview EVO2 laryngoscope in the airway management of elective surgical patients: A comparison with the Macintosh laryngoscope

open access: yes, 2013
Background: The Truview EVO2(C) laryngoscope (TL) is a recently introduced optical device designed to provide an unmagnified anterior image of the glottic opening and allow indirect laryngoscopy. Aim: This study is designed to determine whether the TL is

Comparative evaluation of Truview evo2 and Macintosh laryngoscope for ease of orotracheal intubation in children – A prospective randomized controlled trial

open access: yesJournal of Anaesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology, 2019
Background and Aims: Truview evo2 has been found to improve the glottic view when compared with the Miller blade in pediatric population. However, there is limited literature comparing it with Macintosh laryngoscope in children.

TRACHEAL INTUBATION IN A MANNIKIN: COMPARISON OF THE BELSCOPE WITH THE MACINTOSH LARYNGOSCOPE

open access: yesBritish Journal of Anaesthesia, 1993
Tracheal intubation carries a risk of accidental oesophageal intubation; this is increased with inexperienced trainees, and in patients with a difficult airway. The recent introduction of an angulated laryngoscope, the Belscope, may permit a better view of the vocal cords and increase the accuracy of orotracheal intubation.
