Subchronic Toxicity Evaluation of Ethanol Extract of Picria fel-terrae Lour. Leaf in Wistar Rats
Picria fel-terrae extract has been investigated for its hepatoprotective activity. This current study was conducted to evaluate the subchronic toxic effect of Picria fel-terrae Lour. leaf extract. The subchronic toxicity of ethanol extract of P.

Light and Electron Microscopy Studies Elucidating Mechanisms of Tomato Leaf Infection by Pseudocercospora fuligena [PDF]
The fungal pathogen Pseudocercospora fuligena, known to affect tomatoes in the tropics and subtropics, has been reported from temperate climates including the United States and Turkey in recent years. In this study, an isolate from fresh tomatoes and the

Macroscopic Charged Heterotic String [PDF]
Classical solutions of equations of motion in low energy effective field theory, describing fundamental charged heterotic string, are found. These solutions automatically carry an electric current equal to the charge per unit length, and hence are ...

TUNNELING OF MACROSCOPIC UNIVERSES [PDF]
The meaning of 'tunneling' in a timeless theory such as quantum cosmology is discussed. A recent suggestion of 'tunneling' of the macroscopic universe at the classical turning point is analyzed in an anisotropic and inhomogeneous toy model. This 'inhomogeneous tunneling' is a local process which cannot be interpreted as a tunneling of the universe.

Proteome Alterations in Osteoarthritic Knee Cartilage: Comparative Analysis of Macroscopically Involved and Uninvolved Regions [PDF]
Purpose: This study aimed to determine proteomic differences between macroscopically involved and uninvolved regions of knee cartilage in osteoarthritis (OA), to understand the proteins involved in localized disease progression.

Macroscopic Magnetic Frustration
Although geometrical frustration transcends scale, it has primarily been evoked in the micro and mesoscopic realm to characterize such phases as spin-ice liquids and glasses and to explain the behavior of such materials as multiferroics, high temperature superconductors, colloids and copolymers.

Application of Instantons: Quenching of Macroscopic Quantum Coherence and Macroscopic Fermi-Particle Configurations [PDF]
Starting from the coherent state representation of the evolution operator with the help of the path-integral, we derive a formula for the low-lying levels $E = \epsilon_0 - 2\triangle\epsilon cos (s+\xi)\pi$ of a quantum spin system.

A continuum model of gas flows with localized density variations [PDF]
We discuss the kinetic representation of gases and the derivation of macroscopic equations governing the thermomechanical behavior of a dilute gas viewed at the macroscopic level as a continuous medium.
