Increased Resolution Macular Thickness Mapping by OCT
2006 International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2006Optical coherence tomography (OCT) poor mapping resolution has been pointed out as the biggest disadvantage of this technique when compared to others, e.g., retinal thickness analyzer. In this work we were able to solve this problem by developing an atlas of macular thickness of the human retina into which OCT scans were thereafter registered.
