Breaking the Durability–Power Trade‐Off: Boron‐Directed Faceted O3 Cathodes for High‐Rate Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.

Beyond Imperfect Match: Silicon/Graphite Hybrid Anodes for High‐Energy–Density Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Silicon/graphite (Si/Gr) hybrid anodes are limited by Si's large volume change and mismatch with Gr. This review offers mechanistic insights into imperfectly matched Si/Gr hybrid anodes, elucidating heterogeneous lithiation behavior and interfacial failure pathways, and thereby informing the design of durable, high‐energy–density lithium‐ion batteries.

Synergies in Agricultural Biodiversity Conservation: Decomposing the Interaction Between Nature Parks and Agri‐Environment Schemes

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Understanding how policy instruments with overlapping goals interact is crucial for leveraging their synergies. This study explores the mechanisms for regional nature parks (a form of protected areas that impose no restrictions on agriculture) to enhance the adoption of biodiversity‐conserving agri‐environment schemes (AES) in Switzerland ...

Do Media Consumers Really Dislike Advertising? An Empirical Assessment of a Popular Assumption in Economic Theory [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper uses data on the population of German magazines for the period 1973 to 2004 to show that, contrary to conventional wisdom, there is little evidence for magazine readers disliking advertising.

Layered Ti1‐xFexS2 Cathode Materials with Anionic Redox Chemistry for Mg Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
The predicted layered Ti‐Fe sulfides exhibit joint cationic and anionic redox and faster Mg2+ kinetics over pyrite forms and are promising cathodes for rechargeable Mg battery. Rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs) are a promising alternative to lithium‐ion batteries because of the high capacity and crustal abundance of magnesium.

Feminist Digital Literature in Italy. Delays, Breakthroughs and Exceptions

open access: yesAsparkía
As the digital world has broadened the spectrum of digital and digitised archives, in Italy, digital feminist literature has seen a delayed implementation, alongside some major achievements. It is due to the democratisation of knowledge that sources and
