Design of Fuel‐Dependent, Complex‐Coacervate‐Based Synthetic Cells
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Fuel‐dependent synthetic cells form and persist only in the presence of chemical fuel, decaying under starvation. We establish design rules for hexapeptide‐based coacervates, showing that tryptophan enhances polyanion binding, extends lifetime, and reduces waste sensitivity.

High‐Temperature Heat Pump Test Bench with n‐Butane (R‐600) Generating Steam
Chemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.This work involves building a test bench for a high‐temperature heat pump (HTHP) and analyzing the measurements. The focus is on steam generation using an HTHP to decarbonize process steam demand. The findings indicate that stable steam generation is possible, providing a higher heat transfer coefficient in the heat pump's condenser.

Drug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.A new extraction method was developed and validated for the extraction of THC and THC‐COOH from capillary blood samples collected as dried blood spots. The extracts were analysed using HPLC–MS/MS resulting in high extraction efficiencies for both THC and THC‐COOH.

ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.Table of Contents The TiO2@IrO2 core–shell architecture ensures high electronic conductivity even at a low iridium content of 10 wt%. The resulting catalyst layer shows significantly higher iridium utilization than a commercial reference, leading to improved PEMWE single‐cell performance at low iridium loading.

European Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.DNA architectures with aminonaphthalimides and cyanovinylenes as base surrogates form interstrand and intrastrand dimers showed that can be used as nucleic acid‐sensitive probes by their fluorescence turn‐on and red‐shift as readouts. The fluorescence turn‐on was tested by probing N6‐methyl‐2’‐deoxyadenosine (m6A) in DNA.
