Problems of Professional Competence, Remediation Interventions, and Outcomes in Counselor Education: A Case‐Level Study

open access: yesCounselor Education and Supervision, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examined PPCs, remediation interventions, and outcomes in completed remediation cases within CACREP‐accredited counselor education programs. Full‐time counselor educators who served as primary faculty on at least one completed remediation in the past 3 years completed a brief survey for each case, yielding 80 unique remediation ...

Comprehensive Peptide Profiling Reveals the Influence of Streptococcus Thermophilus, Lactobacillus Delbrueckii Subsp. bulgaricus, and Endogenous Milk Proteases on the Hydrolysis of Milk Proteins During Early‐Stage Lactic Acid Fermentation

open access: yesChemFoodChem, EarlyView.
Untargeted peptide profiling investigates how S. thermophilus, Lb. bulgaricus, and endogenous milk enzymes impact proteolysis during early‐stage milk fermentation. ≥ 3000 identified peptides show the strongest influence of LB on the peptide profile and number of bioactive peptides. Shorter peptides are mostly formed by LB and hydrolyzed by ST.

Design of Fuel‐Dependent, Complex‐Coacervate‐Based Synthetic Cells

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Fuel‐dependent synthetic cells form and persist only in the presence of chemical fuel, decaying under starvation. We establish design rules for hexapeptide‐based coacervates, showing that tryptophan enhances polyanion binding, extends lifetime, and reduces waste sensitivity.

Influence of Head‐to‐Tail Cyclization of Lanmodulin‐Inspired Peptides on Lanthanide Affinity and Structure

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The influence of head‐to‐tail cyclization, as well as the effect of ring expansion with an additional glycine on lanmodulin‐inspired peptides on the structure and lanthanide (Ln)‐binding behavior was investigated. While the decrease of structural flexibility can indeed increase the Ln affinity and peptide pre‐organization, it does not lead to an ...

Sometimes Hot, Sometimes Not: The Relations Between Selected Situational Vocational Interests and Situation Perception

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Personality, EarlyView., 2020
Abstract Vocational interests are traditionally conceived as stable preferences for different activities. However, recent theorizing suggests their intraindividual variability. This preregistered experience sampling study examined intraindividual variation in selected vocational interests states and related situation and person factors (N = 237 ...

Teaming Up for Sustainability: Understanding Different Types, Projects, and Enablers of Employee Sustainability Teams

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Employee sustainability teams—groups collaborating continuously and voluntarily on sustainability initiatives—can serve as a bottom‐up driver for organizational change. Despite their potential, however, their role and contributions are underexplored. To fill this gap, our multi‐case study examines 59 projects by 13 teams across three companies

Revealing Structure–Performance Relations in Core‐Shell Catalyst‐Based PEM Water Electrolyzer Anodes with Low Iridium Loading

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Table of Contents The TiO2@IrO2 core–shell architecture ensures high electronic conductivity even at a low iridium content of 10 wt%. The resulting catalyst layer shows significantly higher iridium utilization than a commercial reference, leading to improved PEMWE single‐cell performance at low iridium loading.

Early results of micro-deformation measurements in Magdalena Jama (Slovenia) by a vertical static pendulum

open access: yesActa Carsologica, 2013
Vertical static pendulums have been installed in mines or caves in Central Europe since 2007. Two-dimensional optical measurement of the tilt of a rock mass and continuous fully digital on-line evaluation of results makes possible the detection of a ...
