Mapping the twist-angle disorder and Landau levels in magic-angle graphene
Nature, 2019The recently discovered flat electronic bands and strongly correlated and superconducting phases in magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene (MATBG) 1 , 2 crucially depend on the interlayer twist angle, θ .

Magic Squares and Magic Triangles
The Arithmetic Teacher, 1987For drill, many teacher use magic square, n × narrays of numbers in which the sums of the numbers in each row. each column, and each diagonal are the same. The only difficult y with magic squares is creating them. Once a specific magic square ha been used, it isn't much fun to use it again.

How “Magic” is a Magic Metal Cluster?
Physical Review Letters, 1996The stability of a closed-shell metal cluster, Na{sub 8}, is studied in a variety of surroundings using {ital ab} {ital initio} molecular dynamics. On the insulating NaCl(001) surface, Na{sub 8} is magic; even at 600 K it retains its intrinsic structure. On the Na(110) surface it spontaneously collapses, forming an epitaxial adlayer.

Magic rectangles and modular magic rectangles
Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, 1996A magic \(( m, n)\) rectangle is an \(m\times n\) matrix with entries \(1,\dots, mn\) for which all the row sums are the same and all the column sums are the same. A modular magic \((m, n)\) rectangle is an \(m\times n\) matrix with entries \(1,\dots, mn\) for which all the row sums are congruent modulo \(mn\) and all the column sums are congruent ...
