A single‐step, low‐temperature co‐pyrolysis process removes encapsulated seed metal NPs (10–50 nm) from CNTs, redistributing them as surface‐anchored metal and metal–nitride NCs (1–1.5 nm). Herein, Ni3N NCs achieve an ultra‐low onset overpotential for CO2 reduction to CO with >98% Faradaic efficiency across 100–700 mA cm−2.

Influence of polarizability on metal oxide properties studied by molecular dynamics simulations
We have studied the dependence of metal oxide properties in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations on the polarizability of oxygen ions. We present studies of both liquid and crystalline structures of silica (SiO2), magnesia (MgO) and alumina (Al2O3).

How efficient is an integrative approach in archaeological geophysics? Comparative case studies from Neolithic settlements in Thessaly (Central Greece) [PDF]
The geophysical prospection of Neolithic tells imposes specific challenges due to the preservation and nature of the architectural context and the multiple, usually disturbed, soil strata.

Chemically Driven Nano‐Elastic Heterogeneities Control Fragility in Volcanic Melts
The study elucidates how nanoscale structural heterogeneity governs the mechanical behavior of volcanic glasses across compositions from basalt to rhyolite. Using a physicochemical framework, correlation length (ξ) and microscopic free volume (Vc) are derived from vibrational and physical properties, revealing systematic trends with silica content that
