Compression Deformation Behavior of AZ81 Magnesium Alloy at Elevated Temperatures
The hot deformation behavior of an AZ81 magnesium alloy was investigated by hot compressive testing on a Gleeble-1500 thermal mechanical simulator in the temperature range from 200 to 400°C and in the strain rate range of 0.001–5 s−1.

Phase diagram determination and thermodynamic modeling of the Cu-Mg-Si system [PDF]
13 ternary Cu-Mg-Si alloys were prepared by means of the powder metallurgy method. Phase equilibria at 500 and 700 oC of the Cu-Mg-Si system were determined using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD).

Local and global electrochemical impedances applied to the corrosion behaviour of an AZ91 magnesium alloy [PDF]
The electrochemical behaviour of an AZ91 magnesium alloy was investigated in a low aggressive medium by means of local and global electrochemical impedance measurements. The results were compared to those obtained on a pure magnesium sample.

Additive manufacturing of magnesium alloys
Magnesium alloys are a promising new class of degradable biomaterials that have a similar stiffness to bone, which minimizes the harmful effects of stress shielding. Use of biodegradable magnesium implants eliminates the need for a second surgery for repair or removal.
