A Nonlinear Impact-Driven Triboelectric Vibration Energy Harvester for Frequency Up-Conversion

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
Energy harvesting effectively powers micro-sensors and wireless applications. However, higher frequency oscillations do not overlap with ambient vibrations, and low power can be harvested.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF A SINGLE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR WITH NON-UNIFORM STATOR SLOTS BASED ON MAGNET SOFTWARE AND AUTOCAD

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2022
The current study uses the finite element technique to investigate a single-phase induction motor with non-uniform stator slots. A 0.5 hp, four poles, 36 stator slots, and 48 rotor slots have non-uniform stator slots was analyzed based on magnet Finite ...

Characterization of Permanent Magnet Magnetization [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2017
The performances of electrical machines highly depend on the behavior of materials, such as steel, copper, and permanent magnet. This paper focuses on permanent magnets whose magnetization must be precisely known. Thus a non-destructive approach which includes a combination of experiments and inverse problem, using the magnetostatic moment method, is ...

Si effects on a thermal stability and a crystallization behavior of P-riched Fe(-Si)-B-P-Cu alloys

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
Nanocrystalline soft magnetic ribbons with high saturation magnetic flux density Bs and low coercivity Hc are attracted for high power devices. Ribbon-shaped samples with compositions of Fe83.3B16-xPxCu0.7 (x=4-10) were prepared. The activation energy of

Fe-Si-B-P-C-Cu nanocrystalline soft magnetic powders with high Bs and low core loss

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
The magnetic properties of Fe-Si-B-P-C-Cu nanocrystalline powders were investigated. Fe-Si-B-P-C-Cu powders with a mostly amorphous structure were prepared by an atomization method.

Magnetic Behavior of Sintered NdFeB Magnets on a Long-Term Timescale

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2014
Stable polarization of permanent magnets over the lifetime of the application is an important aspect in electrical machine design. Specification of the long-term stability of magnet material is difficult, since knowledge of the phenomenon is incomplete ...

Anesthetic consideration for patients with micra leadless pacemaker

open access: yesAnnals of Cardiac Anaesthesia, 2020
MICRA, miniaturized leadless single chamber pacemaker, is inserted directly into the right ventricular myocardium via transcatheter approach. We present a case of a 66-year-old patient with a Micra pacemaker scheduled for kidney-pancreas transplant.

Magnetizing of permanent magnets using HTS bulk magnets

open access: yesCryogenics, 2011
A demagnetized Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet was scanned just above the magnetic pole containing the HTS bulk magnet, generating a magnetic field of 3.27 T. The magnet sample was subsequently found to be fully magnetized in the open space of the static magnetic fields.
