Roll‐to‐Roll Manufacturing of Flexible Thermoelectric Semiconductors Using Low‐Level Direct‐Current Sputtering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Roll‐to‐roll direct‐current sputtering enables room‐temperature manufacture of flexible bismuth telluride thermoelectric films. By identifying a low‐power deposition window that suppresses charge‐induced arcing, this work links sputtering conditions to film structure, charge transport, and thermoelectric performance, achieving a room‐temperature figure

Boundaries of magnetic anomaly sources in the Tyrrhenian region

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 1998
Analysis of the analytic signal of the aeromagnetic field in the Tyrrhenian region allowed the systematic location of the boundaries of magnetic shallow sources. This method was chosen because of its independence from the magnetization and inducing field

Exceptional Magnetic Anomalies in TbIrIn5

open access: yesJournal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism
We study the single crystal growth and the electronic properties of TbIrIn5. The single crystals of TbIrIn5 were grown using the flux method. The analysis of the x-ray diffraction pattern shows high-quality single crystals formed in a tetragonal crystal structure. A trace of In-flux was also found in the data.

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...
