Reconstruction of the boundary line of the dacha of village Rasskazovo with country-sides according to an archival source of 1811

open access: yesВестник Тамбовского университета. Серия: Гуманитарные науки, 2022
On the basis of a written document from the early 19th century, the boundary line of the dacha of the village Rasskazovo was reconstructed. The purpose of this research is to decipher the Boundary Book of 1811, present its text in electronic form, and ...

Cluster Analysis of Extremely High Energy Cosmic Rays in the Northern Sky

open access: yes, 1999
The arrival directions of extremely high energy cosmic rays (EHECR) above $4\times10^{19}$ eV, observed by four surface array experiments in the northern hemisphere, are examined for coincidences from similar directions in the sky.

Ultra-high energy cosmic rays: are they isotropic? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
From the analysis of AGASA data above $4 \times 10^{19}$ eV, we show that the ultra-high energy cosmic rays flux is neither purely isotropic, nor reflects the expected anisotropy from a pure source distribution that maps large scale structure in the ...

Origin of Small-Scale Anisotropies in Galactic Cosmic Rays

open access: yes, 2016
The arrival directions of Galactic cosmic rays (CRs) are highly isotropic. This is expected from the presence of turbulent magnetic fields in our Galactic environment that repeatedly scatter charged CRs during propagation.

Prognostic Impact of Treatment Modalities, Including Targeted Compartmental Radio‐Immunotherapy, in a Cohort of Neuroblastoma Patients With CNS Metastases at Relapse

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Neuroblastoma (NB) with central nervous system (CNS) metastases is rare at diagnosis, but occurs more often during relapse/progression. Patients with CNS metastases face a dismal prognosis, with no standardized curative treatment available.

Semiautomatic sun shots with the WIDIF DIflux [PDF]

open access: yesGeoscientific Instrumentation, Methods and Data Systems, 2017
The determination of magnetic declination angle entails finding two directions: geographic north and magnetic north. This paper deals with the former.

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.
