Carbonized Polymer Dots‐Based Spectrally Adaptable Photonic Microbarcodes

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores spectrally tunable photonics barcodes using carbonized polymer dots (CPDs) based on whispering gallery mode (WGM) photoluminescence. CPDs offer wavelength‐dependent emission from visible to near‐infrared (NIR), thereby enabling variable WGM emissions.

Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence and Beyond. Photophysics and Material Design Strategies.

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Photophysical properties of TADF molecules are determined by characteristic parameters that are discussed in detail(. Moreover, using femtosecond time‐resolved spectroscopy, quantum mechanical considerations, and state‐of‐art calculations, deeper understanding allows us to design breakthrough Cu(I) and organic TADF‐ OLED materials. For the latter ones,

Downshifting Layer of Europium‐Doped NaGdF4: From the Optimization of the Sol–Gel Process to the Luminescent Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
The present approach proposes a high yield production method, using an inexpensive equipment, for the fabrication of lanthanide‐doped ternary fluoride films having high crystallinity and a very homogeneous surface. This efficient sol–gel/spin‐coating approach produces, selectively and reproducibly, the hexagonal undoped and Eu‐doped NaGdF4 films.

Magneto‐Electroluminescence Responses Mediated by Magneto‐Conductance in Polymer and Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence‐Emitter‐Based Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a negative MEL curve at low magnetic fields under constant voltage, attributed to triplet exciton‐charge reaction modulated by MC in TADF‐LEDs. After correction, MEL remains positive, confirming RISC as the primary mechanism converting triplet excitons into fluorescence. The magneto‐electroluminescence (MEL) responses of polymer
