Magnetic field modeling of a dual-magnet configuration

Journal of Applied Physics, 2007
This paper presents the theoretical and experimental studies of a dual-magnet (DM) configuration that forms the electromagnetic circuit of a nanopositioning actuator. Motivation of this work arises when an accurate prediction of the magnetic field behavior within the DM configuration is required to achieve ultrahigh precision motion control.

Rov Magnetized Magnetic Field Measurement and Magnetic Dipole Model

2011
Through to the position of the main interference source Rov, I put forward the twelve magnetic dipole model, and then deduced and the model of magnetizing field size of the twelve magnetic dipole near field; and use mathematica to simulate. And in the wild, we established a 3 d coordinate system, and selected certain areas to measure different ...

Magnetic fields with photon beams: Monte Carlo calculations for a model magnetic field

Medical Physics, 2000
Strong transverse magnetic fields can produce very large dose enhancements and reductions in localized regions of a patient under irradiation by a photon beam. We have suggested a model magnetic field which can be expected to produce such large dose enhancements and reductions, and we have carried out EGS4 Monte Carlo calculations to examine this ...

Magnetic Field Calculations for the HDM Model Magnets

1994
Westinghouse Electric Corporation (WEC) is presently under contract to the SSCL to design and build the dipole magnets for the High Energy Booster (HEB).1 As a starting point in the magnet design process, a baseline design was provided by SSCL, identified as DSB-701, to be used for the analysis and construction of three 1.7 m model magnets.

Modeling peripheral nerve stimulation using magnetic fields.

Journal of the peripheral nervous system : JPNS, 1997
The technique of magnetic stimulation (MS) has the potential to contribute to the study of the peripheral nervous system, but the uncertainty of the site of activation and problems in achieving supramaximal responses have prevented its extensive use. This paper discusses mathematical modeling of MS of the peripheral nerves.

Ising model in an oscillating magnetic field: Mean-field theory

Physical Review E, 1993
I consider the dynamics of a soft-spin Ising magnet, subject to the time-varying external magnetic field h(t)=h cos\ensuremath{\Omega}t. The system is modeled with a time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equation and is studied at a mean-field level. The time-averaged magnetization (scrM) acts as the order parameter and divides the temperature-h plane into ...

Design of Magnetic Field Compensation System Model for AC Magnetic Field Shielding

Journal of the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers, 2011
In this paper, magnetic field compensation system with an open architecture and can be installed indoors is designed and measured by fabricated. To verify the shielding effectiveness, two rectangular helmholtz coils with 3-axis are fabricated to generate magnetic field and measured magnetic field inside compensation coil for 1~60[Hz], According to ...
