Magnetic flux density standard for low magnetic field at KRISS

Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements. Conference Digest. CPEM 2000 (Cat. No.00CH37031), 2002
The low magnetic field standard system contains a precision solenoid, Cs-He precision magnetometer, and 3-component compensation of the Earth's magnetic field (EMF). The solenoid produces a standard field which is uniform at better than 0.3 ppm within /spl plusmn/2 cm of the center. The EMF is automatically compensated to 0.1 nT.

The Definitions of Magnetic Flux Density and Field Intensity

American Journal of Physics, 1953
The present theory of magnetism, in which it is treated as a phenomenon of current electricity, suffers from objections which are pointed out. The meanings of B and H on an atomic scale are considered, and a method of picturing B and H, inside a ferromagnetic body, without mentioning magnetic poles or dipoles, is developed. It is shown that this method

Spherical magnetic flux density sensor array

In the field of medical imaging, particularly magnetic particle imaging, the accurate measurement of magnetic fields in field generators is of significant importance for the assessment of implementation quality and the detection of deviations by the used material and manufacturing tolerances.

Magnetic Flux Density Measurements Relative to Magnetic Particle Testing

1977
The basic magnetizing requirements relative to magnetic particle testing are reviewed briefly and flux density (B) is established as the all important factor. Rules of thumb and various magnetic field measuring techniques are discussed relative to their usefulness in determining magnetizing levels.
