Quasistatic Contraction of Magnetic Protostars Due to Magnetic Flux Leakage [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1981
A protostar with sufficient magnetic flux can be in quasistatic equilibrium. The structure at the time t of such an axisymmetric protostar immersed in a medium of finite pressure is determined when the mass m(ϕ, t) in each axisymmetric magnetic tube with the flux ϕ is given.

The Signal Characteristics of Oil and Gas Pipeline Leakage Detection Based on Magneto-Mechanical Effects

open access: yesSensors, 2023
In order to solve the problem of the quantification of detection signals in the magnetic flux leakage (MFL) of defective in-service oil and gas pipelines, a non-uniform magnetic charge model was established based on magnetic effects.

Analysis and Modeling of Axial Leakage for Spoke-Type Hybrid Permanent Magnet Machines

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
In this study, we propose a novel analysis method for a spoke-type permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motor (PMSM) using two types of PMs that consider axial leakage flux using a magnetic equivalent circuit (MEC).

Influence of Various Magnetic Pole on Electromagnetic Performance of Consequent-Pole Permanent Magnet Machine

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Permanent magnet (PM) machine with consequent pole (CP) rotor can improve the PM utilization ratio. However, one group PMs with the same polarity is replaced by iron core which deteriorating the electromagnetic performance of the machine, including even ...

Damage identification of broken wires inside and outside the wire rope

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2021
The wire rope broken wire damage detection is mainly focused on the outside broken wire damage detection, not on the inside broken wire damage detection. Moreover, the inside and outside broken wire identification accuracy is not high.

Unsaturated Magnetic Flux Leakage Detection and Identification of Scratches in Oil and Gas Pipelines

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2022
The online detection technology for oil and gas pipelines can effectively detect metal loss defects, but it has limited ability to distinguish corrosion and mechanical damage scratches.

Excitation device for mining steel wire rope based on magnetic flux leakage detection

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2023
The current research does not consider the influence of wire rope swing on the excitation device in the context of engineering applications, resulting in unsatisfactory detection results.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.
