Longitudinal spin Seebeck coefficient: heat flux vs. temperature difference method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The determination of the longitudinal spin Seebeck effect (LSSE) coefficient is currently plagued by a large uncertainty due to the poor reproducibility of the experimental conditions used in its measurement.

Research on magnetic flux leakage characteristics and identification methods under typical transformer winding defects

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
Current research lacks a comprehensive analysis of magnetic flux leakage patterns caused by transformer winding defects, which complicates defect detection.

Magnetic fields around evolved stars: further observations of H$_2$O maser polarization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We aim to detect the magnetic field and infer its properties around four AGB stars using H$_2$O maser observations. The sample we observed consists of the following sources: the semi-regular variable RT Vir and the Mira variables AP Lyn, IK Tau, and IRC ...

Evaluation of the residual magnetic field measurement system for early identification of railway defects [PDF]

open access: yesMetrology and Measurement Systems, 2019
The paper presents research on the capability of the residual magnetic field (RMF) measurement system to be applied to the railway inspection for the early non-destructive detection of defects. The metal magnetic memory (MMM) phenomena are analysed using

Adaptive Compressive Sensing: An Optimization Method for Pipeline Magnetic Flux Leakage Detection

open access: yesSustainability, 2023
Leakage from a submarine oil pipeline would have a great impact on the environment and ecological balance. Accurate detection of pipeline defects can ensure safety in the transportation of oil resources. The traditional detection optimization algorithm may lead to the absence of effective features.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Research on Engineering Applications of Pipeline Stress Internal Detection Based on the Dual Excitation Magnetic Field

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2023
Multiple methods, such as ultrasonic, radiographic and magnetic memory methods, can be used to measure the pipeline surface stress, and yet these methods are found with no application to pipeline online stress internal detection.Based on the structure of an ...

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

Magnetic Flux Leakage Defect Detection Based on Deep Learning

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2020
Traditional defect quantization of magnetic flux leakage lacks some components, and manual-extracted information is limited. This paper introduces a quantitative identification method based on deep learning and establishes a defect detection model for ...
