Research on the Analytical Model of Improved Magnetic Flux Leakage Signal for the Local Stress Concentration Zone of Pipelines [PDF]
Local stress concentrations pose a significant hazard to the safe operation of pipelines. However, the classical analytical model of the magnetic flux leakage (MFL) signal is still unable to effectively quantitatively analyze and accurately evaluate the ...

Pulsed magnetic flux leakage techniques for crack detection and characterisation [PDF]
Magnetic flux leakage (MFL) techniques have been widely used for non-intrusively inspecting steel installations by applying magnetization. In the situations where defects may take place on the near and far surfaces of the structure under inspection ...

This paper addresses the detection and identification of flaws in Plug valves. The Plug valve thermal image is acquired using a Fluke thermal camera [TiS20]. Thermal images of the Plug valve are used for the identification of flaws such as Crack, Porosity, Corrosion, and Internal defects. The thermal images detect the surface flaws and never subsurface

Investigating the Influence of Design Frequency on the Ultrasonic Signal of PFSV‐EMATs
The point‐focusing shear vertical wave electromagnetic acoustic transducer (PFSV‐EMAT) with a concentric meander line (CML) coil has been developed to detect and size micro defection concealed within a certain depth of materials. It is proved to be sensitive to the design frequency, which is associated with the spacing of CML coil.
