Three channel non-force magnetic SQUID microscope
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2003Abstract The development of scanning magnetic microscope (SMM) without appreciable applied forces or magnetic excitations on specimens are presented. The magnetic microscope is intended to measure weak magnetic field distributions near the object surface at micron and sub-micron scales.

Field mapping with the magnetic resonance force microscope
Journal of Applied Physics, 1999We have developed magnetic resonance force microscopy for quantitative measurements of magnetic fields. A microscopic particle attached near the end of a microcantilever serves as the field sensing probe. We have demonstrated two-dimensional field mapping with a lateral resolution of 3.2 μm and a field resolution of 0.19 mT (1.9 G).

Magnetic force microscope (MFM) imaging with electrodeposited tips
Conference Proceedings. 10th Anniversary. IMTC/94. Advanced Technologies in I & M. 1994 IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technolgy Conference (Cat. No.94CH3424-9), 2002Since magnetic force microscopy images are influenced by magnetic properties of a tip apex, it is important to characterize its properties and to examine tip-sample interaction. The electrodeposition is useful to make various controlled magnetic tips.
