Integrated Magnetic Nanoinductors
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, 2015This paper demonstrates the feasibility of the realization of on-chip inductors for use in microwave and millimeter-wave devices using ultraminiaturized on-chip vertical nanohelices. The inductors are constructed by depositing a thin film of closely packed, vertically aligned Nickel nanohelices.

Integrated, variable-reluctance magnetic minimotor
IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1998The use of lithography and electroplating to fabricate variable-reluctance, nearly planar, integrated minimotors with 6-mm-diameter rotors on silicon wafers is described.
