Integrated Planar Transformer for High-Voltage-Ratio LLC DCX With High Current and Ultra-Low Voltage Output

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
The 48 V voltage regulation modules (VRM) for microprocessors feature a high voltage transformation ratio, large current, and ultra-low voltage output. The solutions based on high-turns-ratio transformers are the most popular ones.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Magnetic nanochain integrated microfluidic biochips [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2018
AbstractMicrofluidic biochips hold great potential for liquid analysis in biomedical research and clinical diagnosis. However, the lack of integrated on-chip liquid mixing, bioseparation and signal transduction presents a major challenge in achieving rapid, ultrasensitive bioanalysis in simple microfluidic configurations.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

On the coupling between magnetic field and nutation in a numerical integration approach

open access: yes, 2011
Nutation amplitudes are computed in a displacement field approach that incorporates the influence of a prescribed magnetic field inside the Earth's core. The existence of relative nutational motions between the liquid core and its surrounding solid parts

Machine learning reveals orbital interaction in materials

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2017
We propose a novel representation of materials named an ‘orbital-field matrix (OFM)’, which is based on the distribution of valence shell electrons. We demonstrate that this new representation can be highly useful in mining material data.
