Quantum Tunneling of the Magnetic Moment in a Free Particle
We study tunneling of the magnetic moment in a particle that has full rotational freedom. Exact energy levels are obtained and the ground-state magnetic moment is computed for a symmetric rotor.

The Measurement of the Muon's Anomalous Magnetic Moment Isn't [PDF]
Recent results announced as measurements of the muon's anomalous magnetic moment are in fact measurements of the muon's anomalous spin precession frequency.

Is the electron magnetic moment unique?
Abstract There exist two methods for finding the magnetic moment of the electron. In the first of them employed in quantum electrodynamics, one calculates the energy of the electron placed in a constant magnetic field, the extra energy due to the field being proportional to the magnetic moment.

Brucella NyxA and NyxB dimerization enhances effector function during infection
Brucella abortus thrives inside cells thanks to the translocation of effector proteins that fine‐tune cellular functions. NyxA and NyxB are two effectors that destabilize the nucleolar localization of their host target, SENP3. We show that the Nyx proteins directly interact with each other and that their dimerization is essential for their function ...

Magnetic and Electric Excitations in Split Ring Resonators
We studied the electric and magnetic resonance of U-shaped SRRs. We showed that higher order excitation modes exist in both of the electric and magnetic resonances. The nodes in the current distribution were found for all the resonance modes.

Anomalous magnetic moment of anyons [PDF]
The anomalous magnetic moment of anyons is calculated to leading order in a 1/N expansion. It is shown that the gyromagnetic ratio g remains 2 to the leading order in 1/N. This result strongly supports that obtained in \cite{poly}, namely that g=2 is in fact exact.

Energy of dendritic avalanches in thin-film superconductors
A method for calculating stored magnetic energy in a thin superconducting film based on quantitative magneto-optical imaging is developed. Energy and magnetic moment are determined with these calculations for full hysteresis loops in a thin film of the ...

HISTORY OF NEUTRINO MAGNETIC MOMENT [PDF]
In this historic Lomonosov conference on the occasion of 150 year anniversary of the Mendeleev's periodic table, I present the history of neutrino magnetic moment. It was first thought by Wolfgang Pauli and its magnitude was calculated during the gauge theory era.
