Magnetic Multilayers and Interfaces
2012Mossbauer spectroscopy is a conventional technique to measure magnetic hyperfine fields. Particularly experiments on 57Fe and 119Sn are easy and observed hyperfine fields furnish us useful information not only for studies on magnetism but also generally to characterize condensed matters.

Electrodeposition of magnetic multilayers
Surface and Coatings Technology, 1998Abstract In this contribution, results obtained in a BRITE–EURAM project on the electrodeposition of composition-modulated alloys (CMM) are presented. Electrodeposited Co-rich Co–Pt–P, natural, very thin multilayers are studied as possible substitutes of Co-based sputtered magnetic recording media, for their easy production, high magnetisation and ...

Magnetization and magnetic anisotropy in Ni/Pd multilayer films
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1999We have investigated magnetization and magnetic anisotropy in Ni/Pd multilayer films, prepared by dc magnetron sputtering at 7 mTorr Ar sputtering pressure. Interestingly, enhanced magnetization was found in this system, due to the polarization of Pd.

Magnetic multilayers and nanostructures
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2001Magnetic orientational properties of few atomic layers of magnetic materials have been studied theoretically by means of the fully relativistic screened KKR method. The exchange couplings have been determined by applying the method of infinitesimal rotation and the generalized perturbation method (GPM) in the disordered local moment (DLM) picture ...

Theory of magnetic multilayers
Physica Scripta, 1991A general method for calculating the temperature dependence of the local magnetisation M(T) in the spin wave regime for an arbitrary ferromagnetic multilayer is described. The application of the method to magnetic overlayers that have been studied with spin-polarised electrons is discussed.

Optics of magnetic multilayers
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 1991Optical response of layered lossy anisotropic media displaying magnetic order is considered. The analysis is based on classical optical terms. Planar magnetic multilayers (ML) are represented by Yeh's 4×4 matrices which relate the field amplitudes in the isotropic half spaces on both sides of a ML structure.

Structure and magnetic behavior of magnetic multilayers
Materials Science and Engineering: B, 1989Abstract A cursory review is made of the present state of metallic multilayer (ML) fabrication and their quality using the degree of coherence in the growth direction as the main criteria. It is seen that the quality of ML is not particularly sensitive to the matching of the d-spacings and areas/atoms of its components.
