Dynamical and thermal effects in nanoparticle systems driven by a rotating magnetic field [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We study dynamical and thermal effects that are induced in nanoparticle systems by a rotating magnetic field. Using the deterministic Landau-Lifshitz equation and appropriate rotating coordinate systems, we derive the equations that characterize the ...

Effect of MnFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticle addition rate on the structure and properties of magnetic hollow hydroxyapatite microspheres

open access: yesFrontiers in Nanotechnology
Magnetic hollow hydroxyapatite (HAp) microspheres have demonstrated great potential for biomedical applications and pollution treatment. However, it remains unclear how the rate of magnetic nanoparticle addition during synthesis affects the material’s ...

Electron-magnon coupling and nonlinear tunneling transport in magnetic nanoparticles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We present a theory of single-electron tunneling transport through a ferromagnetic nanoparticle in which particle-hole excitations are coupled to spin collective modes.

Spin injection in a single metallic nanoparticle: a step towards nanospintronics

open access: yes, 2006
We have fabricated nanometer sized magnetic tunnel junctions using a new nanoindentation technique in order to study the transport properties of a single metallic nanoparticle.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Renormalization of the tunnel splitting in a rotating nanomagnet

open access: yes, 2010
We study spin tunneling in a magnetic nanoparticle with biaxial anisotropy that is free to rotate about its anisotropy axis. Exact instanton of the coupled equations of motion is found that connects degenerate classical energy minima.

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Autoresonant control of the magnetization switching in single-domain nanoparticles

open access: yes, 2014
The ability to control the magnetization switching in nanoscale devices is a crucial step for the development of fast and reliable techniques to store and process information. Here we show that the switching dynamics can be controlled efficiently using a
