Magnetic retraction of bowel by intraluminal injectable cyanoacrylate-based magnetic glue [PDF]
Magnetic retraction offers advantages over physical retraction by graspers because of reduced tissue trauma. The objectives of this study are to investigate a novel method of magnetisation of bowel segments by intraluminal injection of magnetic glue and ...

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Thioketal (TK) polymers are promising biomaterials due to their selective biodegradation by reactive oxygen species (ROS), but they respond slowly to physiologic doses of ROS. Here, the TK bond's pendant groups are modified to enhance the degradation of TK‐based implants both in vitro and in vivo.

Unraveling MXene Oxidation Mechanisms Under Realistic Gas Environments by In Situ Gas‐Cell TEM
Real‐time visualization of MXene degradation reveals a fundamental oxidation mechanism under oxygen and moisture environments. Using in situ gas‐cell electron microscopy, this study demonstrates that oxygen degradation drives a thermodynamically controlled high‐temperature transformation into mixed rutile/anatase phases.
