Quantum oscillations and high carrier mobility in the delafossite PdCoO2 [PDF]
We present de Haas-van Alphen and resistivity data on single crystals of the delafossite PdCoO2. At 295 K we measure an in-plane resistivity of 2.6 μΩcm, making PdCoO2 the most conductive oxide known.

Magnetosonic resonance in a dipole-like magnetosphere [PDF]
A theory of resonant conversion of fast magnetosonic (FMS) waves into slow magnetosonic (SMS) oscillations in a magnetosphere with dipole-like magnetic field has been constructed.

High-latitude observations of impulse-driven ULF pulsations in the ionosphere and on the ground [PDF]
International audienceWe report the simultaneous observation of 1.6?1.7 mHz pulsations in the ionospheric F-region with the CUTLASS bistatic HF radar and an HF Doppler sounder, on the ground with the IMAGE and SAMNET magnetometer arrays, and in the ...

Magnetic quantum oscillations for the surface states of topological insulator Bi2Se3 [PDF]
We study quantum oscillations of the magnetization in Bi2Se3 (111) surface system in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field. The combined spin-chiral Dirac cone and Landau quantization produce profound effects on the magnetization properties that

Effect of structuring on coronal loop oscillations [PDF]
In this Thesis the theoretical understanding of oscillations in coronal structures is developed. In particular, coronal loops are modelled as magnetic slabs of plasma.

Magnetic field detection using spin-torque nano-oscillator combined with magnetic flux concentrator
Spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNO) are studied in terms of the Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert (LLG) equation. The effect on the limit of detectivity of an STNO concerning externally applied magnetic fields is studied with micromagnetic models by placing ...

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Quantum oscillations of the magnetic properties in Mn-diluted (Mn, Ga)4C alloys
High purity antiperovskite-type Mn3−xGa1+xC (0 < x ≤ 0.3) alloys with varied Mn-concentration were prepared by using the solid state reaction method. The Curie temperature and the magnetization of Mn3−xGa1+xC were observed to oscillate as a function of x.
