Current Status and Future Perspectives of Robotic‐Assisted Redo Pyeloplasty for Recurrent Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction

open access: yesInternational Journal of Urology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recurrent ureteropelvic junction obstruction presents significant surgical challenges due to fibrosis, altered anatomy, and impaired vascularity. Open redo pyeloplasty has traditionally been the gold standard; however, it is associated with considerable morbidity.

Demographic, imaging and disease patterns of moyamoya angiopathy in South Auckland: an observational study from electronic health records

open access: yesInternal Medicine Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Prior reports show the occurrence of moyamoya angiopathy in the ethnically diverse South Auckland region, but little is known about the sociodemographic burden of the condition and clinical outcomes. Non‐Endocardial Radiofrequency Ablation of Premature Ventricular Complexes (NERA‐PVC): Safety, Efficacy and Outcome

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
Non‐endocardial radiofrequency ablation of PVCs is a safe and effective procedure, even with the use of high power and/or long duration RF application. Clinicians should consider this approach in case of LV summit and/or ASV PVCs, although long‐term follow‐up is still characterized by a relatively high recurrence rate.

Bipolar Catheter Ablation as a Key for Successful Treatment of Intramural VentricuLar Arrhythmias: Results From the Bipolar‐Kiel Study

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Unipolar catheter ablation (CA) is effective in the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias but its efficacy can be limited in eliminating intramural arrhythmic origins. Bipolar ablation has emerged as a bail‐out strategy. However, currently, it is being primarily utilized after a failed ablation attempt.
