Magnetic Properties of FeNi-Based Thin Film Materials with Different Additives

open access: yesBiosensors, 2014
This paper presents a study of FeNi-based thin film materials deposited with Mo, Al and B using a co-sputtering process. The existence of soft magnetic properties in combination with strong magneto-mechanical coupling makes these materials attractive ...

Underwater Magnetic Sensors Network

open access: yesSensors
This study explores the design and performance of an underwater magnetic sensor network (UMSN) tailored for intrusion detection in complex environments such as riverbeds and areas with dense vegetation. The system utilizes wireless sensor network (WSN) principles and integrates AMR-based magnetic sensors (e.g., LSM303AGR) with MEMS-based accelerometers

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

A Feasibility Study in Measuring Soft Tissue Artifacts on the Upper Leg Using Inertial and Magnetic Sensors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Soft-tissue artifacts cause inaccurate estimates of body segment orientations. The inertial sensor (or optical marker) is orientating (or displacing) with respect to the bone it has to measure, due to muscle and skin movement [1].

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Attitude Estimation Fusing Quasi-Newton and Cubature Kalman Filtering for Inertial Navigation System Aided With Magnetic Sensors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In the complex underwater environment, the performance of microelectro-mechanical system sensors is degraded sharply and the errors will become much larger.

Geometrically enhanced closed-loop multi-turn sensor devices that enable reliable magnetic domain wall motion

open access: yes, 2017
We experimentally realize a sophisticated structure geometry for reliable magnetic domain wall-based multi-turn-counting sensor devices, which we term closed-loop devices that can sense millions of turns. The concept relies on the reliable propagation of
