IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2023
Magnetic compensation coils are often used to improve the effectiveness of a magnetically shielded room (MSR), but a distortion of the field is caused by the shielding layer consisting of high-permeability material, which leads to a reduction in ...

Hybrid Method for Reducing the Residual Field in the Magnetic Shielding Room
IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2023This study proposes a hybrid method for improving the magnetic shielding performance of a magnetic shielding room (MSR) with few permalloy layers. In this method, two types of compensating coils are combined, one placed outside the MSR and the other ...

Magnetic Coupling Mechanism With Omnidirectional Magnetic Shielding for Wireless Power Transfer
IEEE transactions on electromagnetic compatibility (Print), 2023Electromagnetic field is used as medium for wireless power transfer to realize noncontact power transmission, which is hoped to be concentrated in the power transmission channel as much as possible to improve performance and reduce the impact on ...

Design of Biplanar Coils for Degrading Residual Field in Magnetic Shielding Room
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2021The uniform field and field gradient coils can be utilized for nulling the background field inside a magnetic shielding room (MSR), but the desired field produced by the coils is inevitably distorted due to the coupling effect of the magnetic shielding ...

Suppression of Nonuniform Magnetic Fields in Magnetic Shielding System for SERF Co-Magnetometer
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2022Spin-exchange relaxation-free (SERF) co-magnetometer typically uses a low-noise magnetic shield system, which is composed of outer $\mu $ -metal shields and inner low-noise magnetic shields, to provide the required magnetic environment. Proper degaussing

Magnetic shielding of Rogowski coils
2017 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC), 2017This paper describes the impact of Rogowski coil (RC) construction imperfections on measurement errors. A procedure is shown for detecting RC non-homogeneity using a rotary dipole magnetic field inducing a current inside an RC. The influence of RC magnetic shielding on reducing spurious fields is described.
