Field‐Frustrated Cooperative Distortions: Suppressing Jahn‐Teller Ordering via Microwave Annealing
Microwave annealing decouples local Jahn‐Teller distortions from long‐range cooperative ordering in CuFe2O4, stabilizing a metastable cubic phase that remains locally distorted yet globally symmetry‐frustrated. Synchrotron XRD, PDF, XPS, and in situ thermal cycling reveal how non‐equilibrium MW‐phonon interactions suppress cooperative orbital‐lattice ...

Which latitudes of the Russian Federation may be affected by extreme magnetic storms?
If we consider the auroral oval as an indicator of the electrojet position, the information about the position of its equatorial boundary allows us to predict the latitudes at which the most intense geomagnetic variations can be observed.

Fully programmable, in‐process 3D magnetization integrated with multi‐material printing enables soft magnetic systems with precise actuation and sensing. Discrete and continuous magnetization profiles drive bending, morphing, and locomotion, demonstrated through strain‐sensing elements, dragonfly‐inspired wings, octopus‐like tentacles, and a serpentine

A Ceramic Network for Hybrid Solid Electrolyte Lithium Metal Batteries
An in‐plane aligned Ta‐LLZO ceramic network exhibits superior performance compared to conventional fillers, including single ceramic fibers and particles. The tortuosity within the polymeric phase of hybrid solid electrolytes is identified as a key parameter governing lithium‐ion transport pathways and dendrite suppression.
