Measuring the Hall Effect in Hysteretic Materials
The authors highlight common pitfalls in measuring the Hall effect: in hysteretic magnets, improper data processing can create signals that look exotic but are not real. This Perspective explains the origin of these artifacts and presents practical measurement strategies that help researchers identify reliable Hall responses in complex magnetic ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Source separation in middle- and low-income countries [PDF]
This chapter argues that source-separating sanitation systems still have a limited, but potentially growing role in middle- and low-income countries. It notes that the drivers and constraints for introducing source separation on a larger scale differ ...

Emergent Spin Supersolids in Frustrated Quantum Materials
This review highlights developments in the study of spin super‐solids in frustrated quantum materials. Advanced experimental characterizations and computational studies enable a comprehensive understanding of the driving mechanisms of spin super‐solidity in various layered transition‐metal compounds, bridging materials, experiments, and theory aspects.

Effect of Magnetic Susceptibility Gradient on the Magnetomigration of Rare-Earth Ions
Magnetomigration of rare-earth ions activated by thermal and evaporation-based gradients was demonstrated using Mach-Zehnder interferometry. Magnetic susceptibility gradients were induced in aqueous solutions of rare-earth ions by local heating/cooling ...

Spin‐selective hot‐carrier transfer across CrSBr/WSe2/CrSBr interfaces couples the continuously tunable magnetic configuration of antiferromagnetic CrSBr to the valley degrees of freedom of monolayer WSe2, enabling giant nonequilibrium valley control and magnetic‐state‐dependent reversal of circularly polarized emission.

Topological insulator–metamaterials integrated with electrically driven terahertz quantum cascade lasers enable parity‐dependent harmonic generation. Bulk‐dominated Bi2Se3 favors third‐harmonic emission at 9.96 THz, whereas topological‐surface‐state‐dominated Bi2Se3, Bi2Te3, and (Bi,Sb)2Te3 generate strong second harmonics near 6.5 THz.
