Research on Magnetism and Magnetization Intensity of Magnetic Fluid

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract Magnetic fluid is a liquid magnetic material with high magnetization, fluidity and superparamagnetism. The composition and the performance of magnetic fluid in magnetic field were introduced. Magnetic model of magnetic fluid for application was established.

Magnetic Catalysis Versus Magnetic Inhibition [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2013
We discuss the fate of chiral symmetry in an extremely strong magnetic field B. We investigate not only quark fluctuations but also neutral meson effects. The former would enhance the chiral-symmetry breaking at finite B according to the Magnetic Catalysis, while the latter would suppress the chiral condensate once B exceeds the scale of the hadron ...

Magnetizing of permanent magnets using HTS bulk magnets

open access: yesCryogenics, 2011
A demagnetized Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet was scanned just above the magnetic pole containing the HTS bulk magnet, generating a magnetic field of 3.27 T. The magnet sample was subsequently found to be fully magnetized in the open space of the static magnetic fields.

Interpretation of Magnetic Anomalies by Simple Geometrical Structures Using the Manta-Ray Foraging Optimization

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2022
In this paper, a geophysical strategy based on the recently proposed Manta-Ray Foraging (MRF) Optimization algorithm is adapted and presented for the blind computation of depth/shape defining parameters from magnetic anomalies due to buried geo-bodies ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Successful Integration of UAV Aeromagnetic Mapping with Terrestrial Methane Emissions Surveys in Orphaned Well Remediation

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
Orphaned oil and gas wells represent an important environmental and economic development concern in areas where historical energy exploration and production activity pre-dated regulations on well abandonment documentation practices.

Heterogeneity in the Global Practice of Central Nervous System Staging in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Magnetization arrangement of hard magnetic phases and mechanism of magnetization and reversal magnetization of nano-composite magnets

open access: yesTransactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China, 2009
During the process of directional solidification, laser remelting/solidification in the layer on sintered magnets, die-upsetting of cast magnets, or die-upsetting of nano-composites, the arrangements of the easy-magnetization-axes of the hard magnetic phases (Nd2Fe14B, SmCo5 or Sm2Co17 type) in their designed directions have been studied. In Fe-Pt nano-
