Magnetic Field of a Permanent Magnet [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
For magnetic field calculations, cylindrical permanent magnets are often approximated as ideal, azimuthally symmetric solenoids. Despite the frequent usage of this approximation, research papers demonstrating the validity and limitations of this approach are scarcely available.

Colossal magnetoresistance of Nd-doped LaCaMnO3 polycrystalline ceramics [PDF]

open access: yesProcessing and Application of Ceramics, 2021
The cation doped polycrystalline compound La0.5Nd0.15Ca0.35MnO3 has been synthesized by a conventional solid state reaction method. The Rietveld analysis of the powder XRD of the composites reveals an orthorhombic structure with Pbnm space group symmetry.

Classification of dynamical switching regimes in a three-layered ferromagnetic nanopillar governed by spin-polarized injection current and external magnetic field. II. Perpendicular anisotropy [PDF]

open access: yesКомпьютерные исследования и моделирование, 2016
The mathematical model of a three-layered Co/Cu/Co nanopillar for MRAM cell with one fixed and one free layer was investigated in the approximation of uniformly distributed magnetization.

Green synthesis of manganese-doped superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles for the effective removal of Pb(ii) from aqueous solutions

open access: yesGreen Processing and Synthesis, 2022
In the current study, pure and manganese-doped superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (Mn-doped SPIONPs) were successfully prepared by a green approach using a fresh aqueous extract of Asparagus officinalis as a reducing and stabilizing agent ...

Complexity of magnetization and magnetic simplification

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2023
We use the complexity=volume (CV) prescription to study the effect of a magnetic field on the computational complexity for states in the gauge theories dual to two different gravitational models. In one of these theories the complexity increases with the intensity of the magnetic field, while in the other a more interesting behavior is discovered ...

Paleomagnetism of Phanerozoic Geological Complexes in Tuva

open access: yesВестник Камчатской региональной ассоциации "Учебно-научный центр". Серия: Науки о Земле, 2020
The authors have investigated palaeomagnetically the Ordovician, Upper Devonian and Lower Carboniferous strata in Tuva. In the rocks, postfolding secondary and prefolding magnetization components were isolated.

Searching for Magnetic Monopoles with the Earth's Magnetic Field [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. Lett. 127, 101801 (2021), 2021
Magnetic monopoles have long been predicted in theory and could exist as a stable object in our universe. As they move around in galaxies, magnetic monopoles could be captured by astrophysical objects like stars and planets. Here, we provide a novel method to search for magnetic monopoles by detecting the monopole moment of the Earth's magnetic field ...

Effect of lattice strain on magnetism in epitaxial YCrO3 films

open access: yesMaterials Research Letters, 2022
The influence of lattice strain on magnetism is studied for perovskite rare-earth chromite, YCrO3 (YCO) thin films. A combined theoretical and experimental approach is used to demonstrate the correlation between lattice-strain and magnetic properties of ...
