Giant orbital magnetoelectric effect and current-induced magnetization switching in twisted bilayer graphene [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Recently, quantum anomalous Hall effect with spontaneous ferromagnetism was observed in twisted bilayer graphenes (TBG) near 3/4 filling. Importantly, it was observed that an extremely small current can switch the direction of the magnetization.

Spatially and time-resolved magnetization dynamics driven by spin-orbit torques. [PDF]

open access: yesNature Nanotechnology, 2017
Current-induced spin-orbit torques are one of the most effective ways to manipulate the magnetization in spintronic devices, and hold promise for fast switching applications in non-volatile memory and logic units.

Magnetic reordering in the vicinity of a ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic interface

open access: yes, 2005
The magnetic arrangement in the vicinity of the interface between a ferromagnet and an antiferromagnet is investigated, in particular its dependence on the exchange couplings and the temperature.

Synthesis, Structure and Magnetic Properties of Low-Dimensional Copper(II) trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate

open access: yesCrystals
A reaction between copper(II) nitrate and trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (H2chdc) carried out under hydrothermal conditions led to a new metal-organic coordination polymer [Cu2(Hchdc)2(chdc)]n.

Magnetization Plateaus in the Spin-1/2 Kagome Antiferromagnets: Volborthite and Vesignieite

open access: yes, 2011
The magnetization of two spin-1/2 kagome antiferromagnets, volborthite and vesignieite, has been measured in pulsed magnetic fields up to 68 T. A magnetization plateau is observed for each compound near the highest magnetic field.
