Relativistic Collisionless Shocks in Inhomogeneous Magnetized Plasmas
Relativistic collisionless shocks are associated with efficient particle acceleration when propagating into weakly magnetized homogeneous media; as the magnetization increases, particle acceleration becomes suppressed.

Evaluating the Adiabatic Invariants in Magnetized Plasmas Using a Classical Ehrenfest Theorem
In this article, we address the reliance on probability density functions to obtain macroscopic properties in systems with multiple degrees of freedom as plasmas, and the limitations of expensive techniques for solving Equations such as Vlasov’s.

Generalized CMB initial conditions with pre-equality magnetic fields [PDF]
The most general initial conditions of CMB anisotropies, compatible with the presence of pre-equality magnetic fields, are derived. When the plasma is composed by photons, baryons, electrons, CDM particles and neutrinos, the initial data of the truncated

Magnetization Model for Particle Magnetic Interaction
A new medium magnetization model that takes account of the magnetic interaction of particles has been developed. It is based on the curling magnetization reversal model, and incorporates Atherton's function for the mean field interaction. It is very easy to build the mean field function into the algorithm of our medium model.

On the photon-pseudoscalar particle mixing in media and external fields
In this work, I study the mixing of photons with pseudoscalar particles and vice-versa in the presence of an external magnetic field and a pseudoscalar field.

Magnetic Characterization of Bacterial Magnetic Particles.
Mössbauer measurement, chemical analysis (ratio of Fe2+ to total Fe content), analyses of the rotational hysteresis loss (Wr) and the magnetic viscosity coefficient (Sv) for bacterial magnetic particles covered with organic thin films (BMPs) were investigated and compared with the results for Fe3O4 fine particles prepared by a chemical coprecipitation ...

Penrose Process: Its Variants and Astrophysical Applications
We present a review of the Penrose process and its modifications in relation to the Kerr black holes and naked singularities (superspinars). We introduce the standard variant of this process, its magnetic version connected with magnetized Kerr black ...

Neutrino flares from black hole coronae [PDF]
We present a model for neutrino flares in accreting black holes based on the injection of a non-thermal population of relativistic particles in a magnetized corona.

Thermal instability in ionized plasma [PDF]
We study magnetothermal instability in the ionized plasmas including the effects of Ohmic, ambipolar and Hall diffusion. Magnetic field in the single fluid approximation does not allow transverse thermal condensations, however, non-ideal effects highly ...
