Effect of magnetic treatment of irrigation water and seed on some vegetative characteristics and production of black seed "Nigella sativa

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2012
Seeds of Nigella sativa were sown in containers containing 15kg Loamy soil. The seeds were divided before sewing into two groups. The first group was soaked with ordinary tap water end the second group was treated with magnetized water for 24hrs.

Observation of the Sagnac Effect in the Magnetization of Magnetic Nanoparticles in Water

open access: yesAnalytical Sciences, 2016
A square optical loop used to observe the Sagnac effect was constructed by using a 632.8-nm He-Ne laser, a polarizing beam splitter and three mirrors, combined with a detection system. When a magnetic field was applied from the transversal direction to the beam of the loop, which passed through the sample cell containing magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs ...

Fat and water magnetic resonance imaging [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2009
AbstractA wide variety of fat suppression and water–fat separation methods are used to suppress fat signal and improve visualization of abnormalities. This article reviews the most commonly used techniques for fat suppression and fat–water imaging including 1) chemically selective fat suppression pulses “FAT‐SAT”; 2) spatial‐spectral pulses (water ...
