Epitaxial EuO Thin Films on GaAs
We demonstrate the epitaxial growth of EuO on GaAs by reactive molecular beam epitaxy. Thin films are grown in an adsorption-controlled regime with the aid of an MgO diffusion barrier.

Thermomagnetic recording and magneto-optic playback system having constant intensity laser beam control [PDF]
A system is developed for maintaining the intensity of a laser beam at a constant level in a thermomagnetic recording and magneto-optic playback system in which an isotropic film is heated along a continuous path by the laser beam for recording.

Oscillatory Spin Polarization and Magneto-Optic Kerr Effect in Fe3O4 Thin Films on GaAs(001)
The spin dependent properties of epitaxial Fe3O4 thin films on GaAs(001) are studied by the ferromagnetic proximity polarization (FPP) effect and magneto-optic Kerr effect (MOKE).

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Variation of blocking temperatures for exchange biased CoO/Co/Ge(100) films
Variations of the blocking temperature and related structures for CoO/Co/Ge(100) films are investigated by employing reflection high energy electron diffraction, Auger electron spectroscopy, and surface magneto-optic Kerr effect measurements.

We describe a geometry for a Sagnac interferometer with a zero-area Sagnac loop for measuring magneto-optic Kerr effect (MOKE) at cryogenic temperatures. The apparatus is capable of measuring absolute polar Kerr rotation at 1550 nm wavelength without any

Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are systems in which electromagnetic parameters are modulated periodically in time, producing momentum bandgaps via temporal scattering rather than spatial Bragg processes. This review examines the theoretical frameworks, modeling, and computational tools for time‐varying media, and summarizes experimental demonstrations ...

Tunable skyrmion–edge interaction in magnetic multilayers by interlayer exchange coupling
Magnetic skyrmions are appealing for applications in emerging topological spintronic devices. However, when magnetic skyrmions in a nanowire are driven by an in-plane current, a transverse Magnus force deflects their trajectories from the current ...
