Two‐Dimensional Triferroics: From Fundamental Couplings to Multifunctional Applications
This graphic summarizes the three main types of currently reported 2D triferroic couplings. From the structural perspective, existing systems can be broadly classified into two categories, which exhibit distinct symmetry features and coupling behaviors. Beyond the lattice difference, a third type involves the interplay among ferroelectricity, magnetism,

Magneto-optic measurements on uneven magnetic layers on cardboard
Measurements of magnetic hysteresis loops by magneto-optic Kerr effect (MOKE) are usually performed on even surfaces which reflect the impinging laser beam without any disturbance.

Interplay of uniaxial and cubic anisotropy in epitaxial Fe thin films on MgO (001) substrate
Epitaxial Fe thin films were grown on annealed MgO(001) substrates at oblique incidence by DC magnetron sputtering. Due to the oblique growth configuration, uniaxial anisotropy was found to be superimposed on the expected four-fold cubic anisotropy.

Ultrafast Transitions in X‐Ray Irradiated Solids
ABSTRACT In this review, we present current developments on modeling ultrafast transitions in solids triggered by intense, atto‐ to femtosecond pulses from X‐ray free electron lasers. This specific irradiation regime requires dedicated simulation tools based on theoretical and computational methods, involving the elements of classical and quantum ...

Infrared magneto-optical properties of (III,Mn)V ferromagetic semiconductors
We present a theoretical study of the infrared magneto-optical properties of ferromagnetic (III,Mn)V semiconductors. Our analysis combines the kinetic exchange model for (III,Mn)V ferromagnetism with Kubo linear response theory and Born approximation ...
