An induction heating system for in situ X‐ray diffraction imaging: design, simulation and application to dislocation dynamics in semiconductors

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, EarlyView.
This work presents a compact induction heating system for time‐resolved in situ X‐ray diffraction imaging. The system enables contact‐free volumetric heating up to approximately 1600°C and provides flexible operation in different operating modes. Its performance is demonstrated through representative diffraction imaging experiments. We present a compact

A Practical Guide to Studying Magnetic Alignment of Free‐Living Animals: Lessons From Leopards

open access: yesEthology, EarlyView.
We show that spatial autocorrelation in circular data can be detected and provide guidelines how to avoid such issues in magnetic alignment field studies. ABSTRACT Spontaneous magnetic alignment describes the tendency of animals to preferentially orient their major body axis in a non‐random alignment relative to the magnetic field.

Use of Wearable Sensors in Angelman Syndrome: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Intellectual Disability Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Wearable sensors are a promising method for collecting clinical trial outcome data for people with Angelman syndrome (AS). However, there has yet to be a systematic probe into the ways in which wearable sensors have been successfully used in AS. The current study aims to provide a quantitative summary of wearable sensors used in AS,

Araguainha Dome, Brazil: A polygonal impact structure due to a complex pre‐impact regional structural framework

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract We investigated the structural framework of the north–northwestern Paraná Basin in Brazil to test whether the pre‐impact structures in this region may have had any influence on the first‐order formation and morphostructure of the Araguainha impact structure (AIS).

Microfluidic nanochips for rapid exosome isolation and multiplex biomarker profiling from a single blood drop: Toward sample‐to‐answer liquid biopsy

open access: yesClinical and Translational Discovery, Volume 6, Issue 4, August 2026.
A microfluidic nanodevice that analyses a single volume droplet of whole blood (10–50 microlitres (µL)) forms a fast and fully integrated exosome‐derived liquid biopsy. The closed system architecture involves plasma separation on chip, exosome enrichment by immunoaffinity and various size based, electrokinetic, acoustofluidic or hybridized strategies ...
