Magneto-elasticity on the disk
A model problem of magneto-elastic body is considered. Specifically, the case of a two dimensional circular disk is studied. The functional which represents the magneto-elastic energy is introduced. Then, the minimisation problem, referring to the simplified two-dimensional model under investigation, is analysed.

Nonlinear magneto-viscoelasticity of transversally isotropic magneto-active polymers [PDF]
Iron-filled magnetorheological polymers, when cured in the presence of a magnetic field, result in having a transversely isotropic structure with iron particles forming chains along the direction of applied magnetic induction. In this work, we model the magneto-viscoelastic deformation (and magnetization) process of such polymers.

Chiral Magneto-Electrochemistry [PDF]
Magneto-electrochemistry (MEC) is a unique paradigm in science, where electrochemical experiments are carried out as a function of an applied magnetic field, creating a new horizon of potential scientific interest and technological applications. Over time, detailed understanding of this research domain was developed to identify and rationalize the ...

Mesoporous vanadium nitride as anion storage electrode for reverse dual-ion hybrid supercapacitor
Summary: In traditional dual-ion systems, the cathode usually is employed as anion-storage materials. Herein, we propose a new dual-ion hybrid supercapacitor with reverse anion/cation-storage mechanism, consisting of a mesoporous (MPs) VN anode as a ...

PEALD-Grown Crystalline AlN Films on Si (100) with Sharp Interface and Good Uniformity
Aluminum nitride (AlN) thin films were deposited on Si (100) substrates by using plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition method (PEALD). Optimal PEALD parameters for AlN deposition were investigated.

Abstract A systematic study of the magneto-resistance (MR), magneto-reactance (MX), and magneto-impedance (MI) effects in single and multiple glass-coated amorphous Co68B15Si10Mn7 microwires is reported. Our studies reveal that the MR, MX, and MI ratios and their corresponding magnetic field sensitivities strongly depend on the number of microwires ...
