Remarks on linear magneto-resistance and magneto-heat-conductivity
Solid State Communications, 1965Abstract The question of the possible existence of an electrical resistivity, or heat conductivity, which changes linearly with an applied magnetic field is considered. It is concluded that although both effects are forbidden in nonmagnetic crystals, namely crystals whose point group contains the time reversal operation explicitly, it is allowed in ...

A solution is obtained for the induced magnetic field caused by the propagation of sound waves through an electrically conducting medium in a direction parallel to the original magnetic field. The equation of continuity is introduced into the coupled equations for the hydrodynamic flow and the electromagnetic field. (R.E.U.)

In this paper we consider the finite deformation of a magnetized and/or polarized elastic body, placed in an electro-magnetic field. We shall be concerned with the general dynamic problem, in which the body may be magnetically saturated or non-saturated, and may conduct currents. But we shall confine our considerations to the non-relativistic case, i.e.

The Development of Magneto-optical Interconnect and Magneto-optical Computing
Latin America Optics and Photonics Conference, 2014Optics and lasers are now being introduced into computing technology. Increasing demand for faster computer and the thermal and quantum mechanical limitations encountered as a result of the standard practice of increasing transistor density and shrinking microprocessor chip size has necessitated the need for multiprocessing system comprising thousand ...
