Bioinspired Morphing Mechanisms for Soft Systems: A Review
Over evolution, plants have developed adaptive movements for their survival. These morphing mechanisms are an incredible source of inspiration to develop soft self‐shaping systems. This review offers a toolbox for designing these materials in function of specific triggers and provides insights into the mechanisms, paving the way for future discoveries.

Tunable Properties of Magnetoactive Elastomers for Biomedical Applications
AbstractThe remote controllable magneto-mechanical devices based on MAEs (magnetoactive elastomers) can be obtained through variation of magnetic parameters of MAEs. Such devices can be used as the elements of peristaltic systems, artificial muscles, hyperthermia or drug delivery.

Water‐Induced Shape‐Locking Magnetic Robots
This work presents the design, fabrication, and application of magnetic soft robots capable of shape locking through water‐induced phase separation. The robots’ modulus transitions from 1.78 to 410 MPa upon hydration. The flexibility in the dry state and rigidity in the wet state enable the delivery, reconfiguration, and deployment of these robots for ...
